Synopsis
Pranchiyettan hails from a rich family that is traditionally into the business of selling rice. But he has an inferiority complex about the fact that he is not that educated. And so Pranchiyettan hankers for social acceptance. He simply cannot understand why people who are less affluent than him can get respectable positions in society.
And so he is always in search of some easy way to get there, with the help of friends like Vasu Menon (Innocent). But sadly for him, that kind of acceptance always eludes him. He hates his nickname, Arippranchi, which he got as a result of the family rice business. To get rid of the nickname he starts a jewellery shop only to have people call him Arippranchi the jeweller.
Padmashri (Priyamani) is a Mumbai-based interior decorator who hails from Thrissur. She invites Pranchiyettan to inaugurate a painting exhibition, after learning about his generosity. It is Dr. Omana (Khushboo), the wife of Dr. Jose (Siddique), who introduces Padmashri to Pranchiyettan. The latter is the couple's former schoolmate. After a while, Pranchiyettan realises the futility of yearning for acceptance. Meanwhile he meets a 15-year-old boy named Poly (Master Ganapathi). Pranchiyettan's interactions with Poly changes his perception of life.

Synopsis
Lal Jose is ready with his latest film Elsamma Enna Aankutty. The film tells the tale of a small village called 'Balan Pillai City' which wakes up every morning with the arrival of Elsamma, the paper girl and Palunni the milk boy.
Ann, actor Augustine's daughter makes her acting debut as Elsamma in the film. She has two heroes in the film - Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith.
The last time Lal Jose had joined hands with script writer Sindhuraj was for the Dileep starrer 'Mulla'. Lal Jose says that he is looking forward to meeting the challenges of yet another interesting story to match up to the audience's expectations.
The cast also include other prominent actors as Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Janardhanan, Vijayaraghavan, Suraj Venjarammoodu, KPAC Lalitha, Seema G Nair, Manikandan, Manikkuttan and Maniyanpillai Raju.
Rajamani has composed the music for the film while the lyrics have been written Rafeeq Ahmad. Vijay Yesudas, Swetha, Devanand, Achu Rajamani, Rimi Tomy, Sithara Balakrishnan and Reshmi have sung the songs of the film.

Synopsis
Megastar Mammooty and Tamil action hero Arjun join hands together for a dynamic action thriller titled 'Vande Mataram'.
Vande Mataram has been directed by T. Aravind and tells the story of officers who embark on a terrorist hunt. Mammootty who has done umpteen investigating officer roles, gets to play an officer in the Intelligence Bureau while Arjun plays a Superintendent of Police.
Gopi Krishnan played by Mammootty, Southern zone command director of the Intelligence bureau, is assigned the task of tracing the plans of a terrorist group led by Malik who has already found his way into the country. Anwar Hussain played by Arjun, who joins Gopi on deputation from the State police. Together, they launch Operation Malik to track down the deadly terrorists and thereby save their motherland.
Sneha plays the female lead as a pilot and wife of Gopi Krishnan and there is also Sharadha Arya who plays an ornithologist who falls in love with Arjun. The film introduces a new villain - Deepak J.D. Jagadish, Jai Akash, Riyaz Khan, Vijay Kumar, Rajan P. Dev, Raj Kapoor and Mumtaj would be seen i supporting roles.
Cinematography is by Vetri and Rajesh Yadav and action by stunt director Anal Arasu. There are five songs in the movie that have been written by Gireesh Puthencherry and Vayalar Sharatchandra Varma and have been set to tune by Vidyasagar.
